1. Polimec has won the 51st parachain auction on Polkadot
Polimec has won the 51st parachain auction on Polkadot by raising 75.3k DOT worth $300k in the crowdloan. 62 participants contributed in to the crowdloan. It's the first ever parachain slot for Polimec.
Polimec, a decentralized funding protocol on Polkadot, is collaborating with Deloitte Switzerland to introduce reusable KYC (Know Your Customer) credentials for global digital asset fundraising. Deloitte will issue banking-grade KYC credentials, enhancing participation in early-stage fundraising on Polimec. These credentials will be anchored on the KILT blockchain, ensuring regulatory compliance and data security.
Polimec’s platform promotes community participation in funding rounds and reduces information disparities, with rewards aligned to sustainably fund Web3 projects. KILT’s on-chain credentials enable user verification while maintaining privacy, allowing decentralized regulatory compliance. The native PLMC token offers access to fundraising and additional functionalities like staking and social credit building.
2. Uniswap arrives on Polkadot through Moonbeam integration for seamless DeFi trading
Uniswap has made its debut on the Polkadot network through a Moonbeam Network integration, making Uniswap V3 contracts accessible to users via the Oku Trade interface.
Oku Trade user-friendly platform provides a range of features including order books, charts, and order history. Polkadot users can now seamlessly participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) activities, expanding their options and accessibility within the blockchain ecosystem.
3. Joystream unveils YouTube Partner Program 2.0 enhancing creator Rewards and content diversity
Joystream has introduced YouTube Partner Program 2.0, elevating its Gleev App’s features and operational changes. The move aims to foster content diversity and quality among creators, shifting from subscriber-based rewards to content quality-based tier rewards (Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze).
Additionally, the program now opens up to various content categories, from Crypto to Art, facilitating a broader range of creators to participate. The updated dashboard offers improved visibility and participation, while upcoming features like Creator Tokens and Tipping enhance content monetization.
