1. Moonbeam Network has won the 44th parachain auction on Polkadot
Moonbeam Network has won the 44th parachain auction on Polkadot by self-funding 162,8k DOT worth ~739k USD. Moonbeam is already a winner of the 2nd parachain auction back in December 2021.
Moonbeam, an EVM-compatible parachain on Polkadot, offers a specialized Layer 1 chain that replicates Ethereum’s Web3 RPC, accounts, and more. It extends Ethereum’s features with on-chain governance, staking, and cross-chain integrations. Developers can leverage Moonbeam’s smart contracts and Ethereum developer toolset to create applications that interact with users and assets across different chains.
2. Altair has won the 87th parachain auction on Kusama
Altair Network, a canary network of Centrifuge, has won the 87th parachain auction on Kusama by self-funding 200 KSM worth ~4,4k USD. Altair is already a winner of auctions #9 and #46.
Altair, powered by Centrifuge, introduces experimental features for financing real-world assets (RWA) on Centrifuge Chain. Built on Substrate, Altair offers a testing ground for asset financing, enabling users to tokenize and finance experimental assets, from NFTs to unexplored resources.
