4. Acurast sunsets Bootstrap Campaign, unveils benchmarked rewards for fair processor payouts

Acurast will end its Bootstrap Campaign on September 11, launching a new, fairer rewards system based on hardware benchmarking scores. Instead of fixed payouts per device, rewards will be tied to each phone’s compute power — CPU, RAM, and storage — measured automatically and recalculated every epoch.

Higher-performing devices earn a greater share, reflecting their added value, while all participants remain eligible for suitable deployments.

Rewards are now distributed every 1.5 hours per epoch, with amounts fixed and pooled by resource type. No user action is needed for the transition, marking a significant evolution in how Acurast incentivizes network participation.
