Web3 Foundation has opened applications for Decentralized Voices Cohort 5, its program delegating voting power to community members in Polkadot and Kusama OpenGov.
The new cohort brings more seats, reduced voting clout per delegate, and a new “DV-Light” track for subject-matter experts. With stricter transparency rules and a one-delegate-per-person policy, the program aims to amplify diverse voices while safeguarding against bad-faith proposals.
Applications were closed on August 5th.
