1. Grayscale files for Polkadot ETF, following Dogecoin & XRP

Grayscale has officially filed for a Polkadot ETF, adding to its recent Dogecoin and XRP applications. With 21Shares already in the mix, this marks the second Polkadot ETF filing.

The SEC now has 45 days to acknowledge and begin reviewing the proposal.

2. Bifrost vTokens go cross-chain via Hyperbridge

Bifrost’s LSTs (vTokens) can now seamlessly bridge across Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain, with BNC and vDOT liquidity pools established on these networks.

Bifrost has seeded initial liquidity pools for BNC and vDOT across these chains to support adoption, ensuring smooth trading and accessibility. Powered by Hyperbridge, a Polkadot cross-chain co-processor, this expansion strengthens Polkadot’s reach across Web3.

Users can now bridge a range of Bifrost and Polkadot ecosystem tokens to major EVM networks, including BNC, vBNC, GLMR, vGLMR, ASTR, and vASTR.

3. Bifrost launches BNC Explorers Campaign

The BNC Explorers Campaign is now open. Stack WAVE points, earn rewards, and get ready for Bifrost’s tokenomics 2.0.

4. KSM now live on Hydration

5. Alexis Ohanian backs Project Liberty's bid for TikTok

Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has joined Project Liberty’s bid to acquire TikTok’s U.S. operations, bringing his expertise in social media and Web3.

Led by Frank McCourt, the initiative aims to decentralize TikTok by integrating it with Frequency, a Polkadot parachain, giving users more control over their data.

6. FIFA Rivals by Mythical Games is launching soon

The only officially licensed FIFA game brings a new era where players truly own their teams and players. Launching on iOS and Android, it’s set to reshape football gaming for good.

7. Goal Revolution’s successful first season on LAOS Network

Goal Revolution’s first season was a huge success, with over 7,200 players and tens of thousands of transactions on LAOS Network, showcasing the platform’s capabilities!

On March 10th, the servers will pause, but the journey is far from over. The base code will be made open-source, inviting anyone to contribute and expand on the game. Documentation and the repository will be linked later this month, so stay tuned.

10. Gavin Wood executes Doom on-chain at 30fps

Gavin Wood has successfully executed Doom on-chain at 30fps, with the system capable of reaching up to 900fps. This includes both server logic and full graphics rendering, with a second program reading and outputting the framebuffer on another core.

This is a significant milestone for Polkadot JAM, showcasing the ability of multiple programs to interact in a true computing environment. A historic achievement for blockchain technology, marking a new era for decentralized computing.

11. Mythos announces key network changes: gas fee burn, staking and DAO migration to Polkadot

Big changes are coming to Mythos! From last week, all gas fees are burned, reducing the supply over time.

Also, the Mythos DAO has migrated to Polkadot, utilizing the Democracy Pallet for governance.

Non-inflationary staking rewards are also now available with wallet support followed — right now supported by Nova Wallet and Subwallet.
