1. Imbue has won the 77th parachain auction on Kusama
Imbue Network has won the 77th parachain auction on Kusama by self-funding 70 KSM worth ~2,5k USD. Imbue already won an auction no. 40 last year in June.
Imbue Network is a decentralized crowdfunding DAO built on top of the Polkadot blockchain platform. It is an idea incubator open to the entire world that allows anyone, from any walk of life and for any kind of endeavor, to submit and vote on ideas worth funding from the communities that believe in them the most.
Imbue can be traded at the MangataX exchange, where you can also provide liquidity in MGX/IMBU LP.
2. HydraDX lists 3 Polkadot native assets: ZTG, iBTC and USDT
HydraDX has listed three Polkadot native assets, namely ZTG, iBTC, and USDT, to the Omnipool, which is already the deepest source of trustless liquidity in the Polkadot ecosystem.
The Omnipool added:
- 2,000,000 ZTG, the token of the Zeitgeist protocol that focuses on prediction markets
- 10.29 iBTC brought by Interlay, the most decentralized Bitcoin derivative representation, and
- 2,178,210 USDT, the native stablecoin of Tether on Statemint, which will make liquidity operations in the ecosystem more user-friendly
With trustless trading and single-sided LPing for several assets, including HDX, DOT, WETH, WBTC, DAI, USDT, ZTG, and iBTC, the HydraDX Omnipool brings an ocean of liquidity to Polkadot. More assets are expected to be added soon.
Besides that listing, HydraDX is successful in another field as well. With the first OTC trading desk live on Polkadot, HydraDX has swapped roughly $2.5M of POL in less than one week.
3. Nova Wallet integrates KILT protocol’s web3name, enabling easy asset transfers with custom digital identity
Nova Wallet is set to integrate KILT protocol’s web3name, allowing users to send assets directly to their digital identity using linked accounts. The collaboration aims to make Web3 more accessible by representing users’ digital fingerprints in a readable format.
The KILT Treasury has funded the integration, which is part of the Polkadot ecosystem. Stay tuned for more news on the collaboration between Nova Wallet and KILT protocol.
4. Calbee launches Evolving Potato Chip NFTs on Astar Network in Japan
Calbee Inc., a leading Japanese snack food maker, has launched evolving potato chip NFTs on Astar Network’s smart contract platform for multichain, which is based on Polkadot.
As part of its “NFT Chips” promotional campaign, Calbee’s evolving NFT chips can be found in thousands of retail stores across Japan, with consumers who purchase certain flavors of potato chips able to claim a free NFT through a game called “Ori-pake.”
The NFTs evolve and grow each time a new Ori-pake is registered, and fully evolved NFT holders gain access to new digital experiences in the future. Astar Network aims to achieve mass adoption of blockchain technology in Japan.
It’s great to see real-world implementations of NFTs, especially in Japan, and the fact that a leading Japanese snack food maker like Calbee is using Astar’s smart contract platform for their NFT campaign is a significant milestone for both Polkadot and Astar, which have been making strides in expanding the web3 ecosystem.
5. peaq and Fetch.ai integrate AI agents on Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems for the Economy of Things
peaq and Fetch.ai have integrated their technologies to bring AI agents to the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. peaq has integrated Fetch.ai’s Microagents, a lightweight version of its Autonomous Economic Agents (AEAs) framework, on its testnet, with plans to launch on the canary network krest and also mainnet in the future.
The integration allows entrepreneurs and developers to use Microagents to optimize and automate various business processes in the Economy of Things, enabling machines to provide services more efficiently.
The collaboration expands on the existing partnership between peaq and Fetch.ai within the Gaia-X 4FM moveID project, which aims to build a new decentralized digital infrastructure for connected mobility.

6. Manta Network launches zkBABs for privacy-preserving Binance identity verification
Manta Network has introduced zkBABs, enabling Binance users to validate their identities without revealing personal data. The protocol will allow all Binance Account Bound (BAB) holders to mint their privacy-preserving zkBABs on Manta’s NFT Private Offering platform (NPO).
Binance launched the Soulbound Token BAB in September 2022, which required KYC verification. The enhanced zkBAB is also used for validation purposes, but utilizes Manta Network’s ZK technology to protect user privacy. Both BAB and zkBAB are not tradable or transferable.
7. Moonbeam Accelerator program announces debut cohort of Web3 startups, supported by top VCs
Moonbeam Accelerator debuts Web3 startups cohort supported by Arrington Capital, Borderless Capital, and Paka. The program aims to support early and growth-stage startups building on Moonbeam’s smart contract platform or those looking to start and bring their innovative ideas to life.
Startups will receive support in technology stacks, business, marketing, financials, and fundraising, along with access to a network of industry experts, resources, and tools. The program is led by Rokk3r, enabling cohort teams to access live mentorship and an unmatched library of content and tools.
The projects selected as the initial cohort span DeFi, gaming, infrastructure, and user acquisition tooling: Airlyft, BrainDex, Cactus Finance, ChainJet, Evrloot, The Great Escape, Moonbeans, PrivaDex, Rootz by JR Studio, Space Protocol and SuperHedge.
