3. Astar Summer: Round 2 is coming
Astar Summer continues with Round 2. There are four more new projects coming on the Astar Network — Algem, Sio2 Finance, Starfish Finance and Zenlink, so let’s describe them briefly.
Algem is the first liquid staking solution for ASTR. For your ASTR tokens, you can get the nASTR, which is the liquid representatin of ASTR which you can farm. In other words, with liquid staking you maximize your assets’ earning potential.
Sio2 Finance is the first multi VM lending platform on Astar, so it will support both Ethereum Virtual Machine and WebAssembly. In other words, Sio2 can handle ERC-20 tokens and also all tokens or other parchains’ tokens in their platform.
Starfish Finance is the DeFi × NFT-Fi headquarter in the Polkadot ecosystem. It’s a one-stop DeFi with multi-token stablecoin swap, cross-chain aggregation for crypto assets and NFTs, and unleashing liquidity potentials in NFTs.
Zenlink is a cross-chain DEX protocol on Polkadot, that allows users to swap Polkadot ecosystem tokens. Zenlink DEX Protocol includes WASM and EVM implementations such as Moonbeam or Moonriver at this moment. This solution allows customizable compositions and interoperability with different DeFi modules.
4. Moonsama has integrated KILT’s SocialKYC
SocialKYC implementation will eliminate the need of traditional Web2 login which uses username and password. From now on just use the KILT’s Sporran wallet and SocialKYC credentials and login into the Moonsama multiverse!
KILT Protocol is a fully decentralized blockchain identity protocol for issuing self-sovereign, anonymous and verifiable credentials.
Moonsama is a project from the Moonriver community, which was launched in September 2021 and become the leading NFT project on Kusama by market capitalization supported by 1000+ weekly unique players.
5. Midas Capital integrated into Moonbeam Network
Midas Capital has been integrated into the Moonbeam ecosystem. Users of Midas Capital Fuse pools can unlock the full potential of their assets through customized and isolated lending and borrowing pools. There is a possibility to create own custom money markets and use a wide range of assets as collateral.
Midas Capital is a DAO within the Tribe DAO ecosystem. Fuse is a permissionless money market that allows anyone to create customized and isolated pools for lending and borrowing any asset on EVM-compatible blockchain. Pool creators are able to flexibly modify various parameters such as interest rate curves, oracles and collateral factors.

Moonbeam Foundation has announced the Moonbeam Orbiters Program. It’s a ollator rotation program with a new way to engage collators on both Moonriver and Moonbeam networks. The trial program will launch to Moonriver today, on 19th July, Moonbeam will follow later on.
7. Basilisk enabled transfers of BSX tokens
$BSX tokens are now transferable, so you can send your BSX around the Basilisk mainnet on the Kusama network. Let’s now wait for $HDX tokens on HydraDX parachain that could be transferable in the close future.
Besides the transfer possibility of $BSX tokens, Basilisk has another news. They just released the Beta version of Basilisk AMM, so you can now go through and play with the interface. We expect the mainnet version to be released within a couple of weeks!
