1. Interlay secured parachain slot on Polkadot
Interlay recently won the 10th parachain auction on Polkadot. From 11 644 contributors in the crowdloan were raised over 7,51 mil. DOT worth nearly 50 mil USD. Interlay will be onboarded as a parachain around 11th March 2022.
Interlay aims to be the most secured, decentralized and also user-friendly BTC bridge within the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond.
2. Mangata X won parachain auction on Kusama
Mangata X is another winner of Kusama’s auctions by winning auction #26 with a large predominance in the support. The crowdloan cap settled up to 14 000 KSM was reached in 50 minutes, which is an amazing speed! And 10 times more KSM than other crowdloan Pichiu!
Mangata X is a new style DEX, that will protect its users against front-running. Besides the front-running protection, Mangata X will have a no-gas architecture, which suits better to regular people who aren’t willing to pay dozens or hundreds of dollars per transaction on Ethereum.
3. Polkadot parachains are scheduled for one year in advance
Polkadot Council passed Motion 158, scheduling the Polkadot parachain auctions for the rest of the year 2022 and even the beginning of 2023. There will be 7 auctions per lease period [LP], the first 2 auction winners in a batch will be onboard immediately, and the last 5 onboard in the next LP.
Besides that, Kusama Council also passed their Motion 438, scheduling the parachain auctions until January 2023. Kusama auctions will occur every 7 days.
