DOT festival on Astar, event #3: get rewarded for using AstridDAO, ArthSwap or Starlay
The DOT Festival on Astar continues with event #3. The rewards increased by 1,000,000 ASTR to the second event with a total bonus rewards 3,000,000 ASTR. You can use three different actions to grab a part of the bonus by using AstridDAO, ArthSwap or Starlay Finance.
While the 1st event of the DOT festival brought the participants 1,000,000 ASTR and the 2nd event 2,000,000 ASTR, the grand finale of the DOT festival brings its users 3,000,000 ASTR in rewards! From now on you can use three different actions to grab a part of the bonus.
Bonus no. 1: DOT deposit on Starlay with rewards of 1,200,000 ASTR
Bonus no. 2: DOT deposit on AstridDAO with rewards of 1,000,000 ASTR
Bonus no. 3: LP farming on ArthSwap with rewards of 500,000 ASTR

- Go to the Astrid DAO app
- Pick DOT asset
- Enable DOT “Allowance”
- Open a vault to deposit DOT and borrow BAI stablecoin (maintain a healthy collateral ratio around 150%-250% to avoid being liquidated)

About the projects
Starlay Finance is the largest lending protocol on the Astar Network. Depositors can provide liquidity to earn interest, while borrowers can leverage their borrowed positions for other DeFi possibilities.
AstridDAO is a decentralized global reserve bank, which uses DOT as collateral for minting USD-pegged stablecoin BAI at 0% interest. With BAI you can earn more rewards by farming it in the BAI-USDC LP on ArthSwap or in the 4BAI pool on Sirius Finance, or alternatively in the stability pool on AstridDAO.
ArthSwap is a one-stop Defi protocol that focuses mainly on swapping, staking, and liquidity mining, so it can be considered as an “Astar-native” dApp.
Final word
Event #3 will last from 6/27 to 7/6. Your rewards are proportional to your proportion to the total amount of all participants. Bonus rewards will be directed to Starlay and AstridDAO DOT deposits and ArthSwap LPs. For Starlay there is reserved 1,500,000 ASTR, for AstridDAO 1,000,000 ASTR and for ArthSwap 500,000 ASTR in rewards.
All rewards in ASTR earned during those three events will be vested for 3 months, until the DOT festival ends.
